On November 18, the Jiangxi Provincial Alliance for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education was officially inaugurated in Nanchang. This alliance aims to integrate high-quality educational resources within the province, standardize cooperation processes, and build a collaborative, shared development framework, providing robust institutional support for cooperative education initiatives across Jiangxi.

  Sino-foreign cooperative education programs have gained significant popularity among students and parents, offering the opportunity to receive a foreign education within the familiar and convenient domestic environment. In recent years, Jiangxi has achieved a breakthrough in this field with the Ministry of Education's approval for the establishment of prestigious institutions such as the Queen Mary College at Nanchang University and the Griffith College of Digital Intelligence at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, filling a critical gap in high-level cooperative education.

  To further strengthen international educational cooperation, the 2025 International Conference on Industry-University-Research Cooperation in Jiangxi and the Education International Cooperation & Exchange Conference were held in Nanchang on November 17. This event created a high-level platform for international collaboration in education, technology, and talent development. During the conference, a series of high-profile Sino-foreign cooperative education projects were signed, including agreements between Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, and between Nanchang Hangkong University and Belarusian State University. These signings mark Jiangxi's transition from isolated projects to a more systematic and scaled approach to cooperative education.

  The establishment of the alliance is timely. Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics serves as the alliance's chair institution, with Nanchang University, Nanchang Hangkong University, and Jiangxi Normal University among its 10 vice-chair institutions. Additionally, Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Gannan Normal University are among its 7 director institutions. This alliance will effectively unite various stakeholders to explore innovative pathways and practices for the development of Sino-foreign cooperative education in the new era, driving its high-quality advancement.
