Jiangxi Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technologyis located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China. It is a public ordinary higher education institution directly administered by the Provincial Department of Education. It is also a provincial high-quality higher vocational college and an approved construction unit of the provincial “Double-high Plan”(China's plan to build world-class higher vocational colleges and majors with Chinese characteristics). The college's predecessor was the Jiangxi Mechanical Industry School, founded in 1958. After more than sixty years of development, it was upgraded to a higher vocational institution in 2002 and has since evolved into one of Jiangxi’s leading vocational colleges in the equipment manufacturing sector, recognized for its strong academic foundation and growing influence.
